Dovidenia, Slovensko!

So we had to pause for five days.
And when we left Pohorela on Saturday we had to cycle across country, hills and mountains towards Kezmarok.
Whoosh, ascending those we really felt the new weight which we are now carrying with us (on our hips and in our bags). 😀

The weather hasn’t been ideal due to pretty cool headwind and fog, but luckily we barely escaped the rain.

However, we found a very nice and reasonably priced guesthouse with excellent Slovakian food.
Besides we could watch the Songcontest in Slovakian. 🙂

Though having recovered pretty well the next day the Tatra mountains and the bad weather soon spoiled our good humour.
Cold headwind, fog, clouds clouds clouds and then also drizzling rain. Excellent.

After our last Slovakian midday meal we could finally say “Dovidenia, Slovensko!” as it is time for exploring a new country…

And here a video from our battle against the mountains 😉
